Course Description

This session presents the highest-quality studies concerning common laparoscopic techniques and procedures to improve patient outcomes and better treat complex diseases. Research includes science surrounding tissue extraction, resection of deep infiltrating endometriosis, removal of myxomas, and excision of retroperitoneal cysts.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: 1) Discuss current data concerning a variety of issues encountered on a daily basis in the operating suite; and 2) develop surgical techniques and strategies for successful completion of laparoscopic surgery.
